Statfold Music Nights: Tributes to Madonna & Cher

Friday 30th July 2021

6.30pm Doors, 8.00pm Show

Join us at Statfold for a night of music, street food and dancing for the first of the weekly “Statfold Music Nights”.

Set outside in the Statfold Courtyard, this promises to be a night to remember! In addition to Elly Jarmain's stunning performances, we have a bar and street food for you to enjoy.

A Tribute To Cher

Cher’s endless back catalogue of hits (not to mention her flamboyant costumes and wigs!) ensures that this legendary lady’s appeal endures, and Elly Jarmain’s remarkably accurate portrayal of her must be seen, and heard, to be believed.

From Cher’s 60s debut with Sonny Bono and her success in the 80s and 90s with songs such as “Turn Back Time” and “The Shoop Shoop Song”, Cher then returned to mega stardom when her Grammy Award winning dance track “Believe” sold more than 10 million copies worldwide.

Fast forward to the current decade and Cher’s success is still going strong! She starred alongside Christina Aguilera in the hit musical “Burlesque”, and then received sensational reviews for her performance as Ruby Sheridan in “Mamma Mia – Here We Go Again”. This led to the release of her twenty-sixth studio album, “Dancing Queen”, which features covers of many of ABBA’s greatest hits.

Madonna Vogue

Since 2000, Elly has been paying tribute to the incredible Queen of Pop along with a talented team of musicians and dancers in the show Vogue Madonna.

Bringing us all the biggest hits from Madonna’s phenomenal 25 years of world domination, the voice, the moves and the image are all perfectly recreated with a performance so full of power, nostalgia and fun that it reminds us all why Madonna is the biggest selling female artist of all time.

Elly touches the heart of the 80s with Like A Virgin, Material Girl and Like A Prayer. She entices us to the dance floor with Vogue, gallops on into the noughties with Music, finally launching into more modern chart successes: Hung Up and 4 Minutes. It’s Madonna – how she was and how she is.
