It is with great regret that following the Government announcement on the 26th November 2020 that Tamworth and Staffordshire will move into Tier 3 on 2nd December, we have taken the heart-breaking decision that we CANNOT go ahead with our Statfold Santa Express this year.
Clearly all the volunteers, staff and everyone at the Trust are beyond upset that we have to disappoint our amazing customers. The decision has not been easy for us to make, but we wanted to give our loyal customers as much notice as we could.
We have tried our hardest to make sure that an indoor COVID-secure Christmas Wonderland at Statfold would go ahead but unfortunately with indoor attractions now forced to close in Tier 3 and the uncertainty about how and when these restrictions will end, we had to make this very difficult decision.
Trying to put on a Christmas spectacular in any other way would not be the experience that our customers and the Trust know and love. Everyone at the Trust is truly devastated and broken that we cannot go ahead with Christmas.
We have tried our best this year to run as many successful COVID-secure events as we can during these uncertain and turbulent times, to ensure that our amazing customers had something to look forward to in the dark days that we have all faced.
All our customers who are booked onto the Statfold Santa Express & the additional Virtual Reality Sleigh Ride will receive a full refund as part of our ‘Money Back’ guarantee.
Anyone that wishes to transfer their tickets to 2021 will receive a free meal voucher for next year, if do you wish to transfer your tickets please could you email us at email@example.com us before Monday 30th November.
Tickets will be automatically refunded in the 21 days following the 30th November. If you don’t receive your refund within this timeframe, then please contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org.
Statfold phone lines will be closed to allow us to process the refunds as quickly and efficiently as possible, but if you wish to contact us please do so on email@example.com and we will come back to you, but it may take us a bit longer than normal.
