Top tips for visiting our tribute music festival
We love going to a tribute music festival, and Statfold Country Park’s Party in the Park is a great one to go to this summer!
Our family music festival is sure to be heaps of fun and with tributes to ABBA, Pink, Bon Jovi and many more, there’s bound to be something to your tastes.
We also know that festivals can be daunting and we’ve got top tips to help you be at ease before your visit by answering some FAQs…
1. I’m worried about missing my favourite bands, is there a programme?
Don’t worry about not knowing where everything is or what time acts will be on stage! When you check in you will be given a map of the site and a schedule so you can plan how to spend your time. The last thing we want to happen is for you to miss your favourite acts. You’ll also be able to see facilities like toilets, information points and more too.
2. What is there for the children to do?
The festival is geared up to entertain the whole family. Of course, children should be supervised at all times but there are loads of things for them to do around the site. We will have soft play, unlimited train rides and you can visit our world-renowned Roundhouse Museum. As well as outside play areas- including slides, swings and a zip wire!
3. Can we bring our own chairs?
Yes, folding camping chairs are fine but please be aware that people may be stood up in front of you, especially if you try and sit near the front! We also have available chairs for attendees to grab and borrow.
4. I’ve never been to a festival, will I enjoy it?
Yes! Party in the Park is the perfect first-time festival! It doesn't get overcrowded, the outside toilet and shower facilities are kept clean all weekend, and there's something on the lineup for everyone! We cater for all ages, from little rockstars-in-the-making to those who enjoy timeless tunes that transport you back to the good ol' days!
5 . Is camping available?
Yes, you can pitch onsite and enjoy a night under the stars, ahead of another day of fun. The pitch is up to 4 occupants and includes access to the shower and toilet facilities on site, you may also add additional campers for a £10 fee. We offer single-night, weekend and 3-night camping options.
So, if you haven’t already, book your tickets to what will be a fantastic weekend!
