All About Us!

Statfold is a unique family attraction and railway with one of the largest collections of narrow-gauge locomotives, Toby’s Barn Play and Climb and much more!

 

Home to a heritage railway museum, with 3 different track sizes from 12 ¼ to 2 foot gauge, we have over 20 working locomotives which you can learn about, or try our interactive educational attraction. 

Little ones can let off some steam in our Toby's Barn Soft Play, Toby's Dig It or Strawberry Play Park. Need a boost? Relax and refuel in Peeler's Bar which serves a variety of sandwiches and paninis along with a selection of drinks.

Listen out for the whistle of the train as it chugs through the stunning Staffordshire countryside or enjoy an exhilarating ride on our NEW Mease Valley Light Railway down to an adventure on our woodland trail*. Finish off your visit with a trip to the Statfold gift shop.

*Please be aware that we are unable to guarantee a train in steam for every visit. At least one of our railway lines will be running, speak to the team on the day to find out more information.

Upgrades to tickets can be made on the day if you wish to add more activities to your visit. Retro Roller Disco will also be open Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Train Rides

Enjoy unlimited rides around our award-winning railway or NEW Mease Valley Light Railway. Take in stunning Staffordshire countryside views. Please note, some days only 1 train will be operating. (All Inclusive ticket only)

Toby's Barn: Soft Play

Enjoy 3 levels of the vibrantly coloured play area. We also have a toddler-friendly area. (Museum & Toby's Barn Soft Play ticket and All Inclusive ticket)

Toby's Dig it

Let off some steam in Toby's Dig It, children can play on our sit-on diggers and gather pebbles around the area. (Available for all tickets)

Food and Drink

Diane's Diner or Peeler's Bar will be open all day offering light bites, hot and cold food and a selection of sweets. Hot and cold drinks can also be purchased here. (Available for all tickets)

The Statfold Shop  

Our bespoke shop is open for business! 

From railway themed gifts to guide books and official SBR merchandise. There is something for everybody! (Available for all tickets)

Woodland Walks   

Statfold is surrounded by over 1,000 acres of beautiful Staffordshire country side. Why not follow one of our woodland walks? (All Inclusive ticket only)

Roundhouse Museum

See the world-renowned locomotive collection that Statfold has to offer in the world-renowned museum and learn about the history of these engines. (Available for all tickets)
